CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Methodist Children's Home is currently accepting applications for the following positions:

SUPERVISOR/CASEWORKER - CORPUS CHRISTI
This postion requires a caring individual with excellent communication skills, self-discipline, strong work ethic, high energy and motivation. This staff member will provide case management, recruit, train and license foster parents, conduct home screenings and manage an office. Candidates must be qualified to manage all aspects of placing at-risk children in loving foster homes. This position will provide in-home services for families and children and will monitor compliance with Texas state minimum standards and organizational regulations. A master's degree in social work or related human services field is required. This staff member will report to the Regional Administrator in Tyler. Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish.

DIRECTOR OF MCH SERVICES - SAN ANTONIO

Applicants must have a strong work ethic, self-discipline, good management skills, high energy and effective communication skills. Foster home recruitment, training, licensure and supervisory experience are necessary. Minimum qualifications include a Master's of Social Work or a master's degree in a human services field (nine credit hours in family/individual dynamics), two years of child placing experience, clear criminal history and background checks, and possess or be eligible for Texas Child Placing Administrators License upon hire. Preference will be given to candidates who are bilingual in English and Spanish.

MAINTENANCE - PLANT
Candidates must have experience in residential and commercial equipment. General plant maintenance, including plumbing, electrical and preventive maintenance, is a plus. Candidates must have a valid Texas drivers license and be able to pass a background check.

UNIT MANAGER
Responsibilities include case management, group work, staff supervision, and team leadership. Experience working with adolescents and supervisory experience preferred. A master's degree in social work or related field required.

RECREATION / ATHLETIC ASSISTANT
This full-time position will supervise recreation activities and athletics at the MCH Boys Ranch. Experience working with youth and skills and knowledge in coaching and outdoor recreation activities are required. Applicants must have earned college credits.

CASEWORKER - SULPHUR SPRINGS
Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in social work or related field and child placing experience. This staff member will provide case management for children in foster homes. GROUNDSKEEPER
This full-time staff member will be responsible for the maintenance of the grounds for over 130 acres. Applicants must have previous experience in commercial grouds maintenance. Experience in any of the following is a plus: irrigation and landscaping installation, tree trimming and weed control.

YOUTH CARE COUNSELOR
This is a part-time float position for the Waco campus. Previous experience preferred. A high school diploma/GED, no criminal history, and an excellent driving record are required. Shifts will vary.

COOK
Experience in cooking for large groups is required. This staff member will work 40 hours per week, including occasional weekends and evenings. During school vacations and breaks, work will be performed out of individual homes.
